Patience...

is a virtue not many would know of
Mood: bored

well, the younger bro is busy trying to fix that electronic thermometer of his.. Just helped him take out the batt...

Anyway, while having dinner today, I heard the word 'cafe', I suddenly remembered one fella, Bertram.

Yeah, I know I've talked about Bertram before, I think... maybe some of you wouldn't know of this fella's exsistance.. So, I shall give you the benefit of knowing one more person's exsistance.

Bertram Leong, I met him along with my two best gal pals while at his school's Open House just earlier this year in Feburary. He's from Law and Management, in Temasek Polytechnic. We both share one thing in common, we both love RED alot. hahas..
he dresses up in soooo much red one time, debra and I started calling him "Mr Tomato" and he jovially laughed it off like it was nothing. He even suggested we called him lobster. (It so happened that day that he was sunburnt)

Well, Bertram's one of my ex-schoolmate's ex-boyfriend. Yeah.. quite a mouthful there.. he used to go out with Sandy (i'm not sure where she's at now, but not Sandy from RP) and Sandy, being Sandy, dumped him for another guy. It crashes a guy's pride if a girl dumps him.. but well, I guess Bertram's a really strong guy.. we listened to his story over a cup of tea / coffee each at Far East Plaza's Gelare.. (however you spell it, i can never remember that cafe's name)

What sorta guy is Bertram? He's your typical super romantic fella. Loves to sit at Starbucks, writing stories and poems over many cups of hot coffee any given day (or whenever he's feeling outta it) and he's a gym buff.. loves to go gyming like crazy. I've never seen a guy more passionate and into going to the gym than Bertram.
Every alternate day, he heads to the gym for a 2-hour workout after work. He keeps away from things like rice, and whatnots.. especially salt. He treats salt as if it'll kill him just to take a pinch of it in his food. He's probably the first guy I've known in my life (yet again) to be as fussy about food as a supermodel who won't eat anything would.

Bertram's also a lifeguard, hence, it's obvious why he's always so tanned. He teaches the little tykes to swim, which I think is really cool at times.. He loves swimming with a passion as big as his love for going to the gym. An avid buddhist, he loves that religion lots too..

I don't think he'd told me, but I suppose he usually thinks that he's got everything in his life going on, just that he can't find the lady of his life.. hahs.. whoever dates him, will be terribly pampered and treated like a queen.

Well, I guess he's also living in the moment, cherishing everything he's got, but wanting more of it every moment. Now, this is what I call "Living life to the fullest". Good on him!

hahas.. well, that's Bertram in a nutshell...
Let me see who else I can talk about today..
OH! okay, I shall talk about Cassandra Leong!! pooof!! how come they're all 'Leong's today? hahas.. doesn't matter, doesn't matter..will talk about Charmaine and Allison tomorrow then.. ;) They're both Foo's and not related in anyway.

Anyway... here we go....
Cassandra!!! well, Cassan's been my pre-adolescent friend till today (just like how Serica's my pre-adolescent friend till now too).. so yeah, we went to the same school, same classes, but drifted a lot after going to different schools..
It's cool how she lives in the block next to mine now! ^_^ so happy for that!!

Cassan's an Eurasian. She's mixed-blooded. Her dad's a chinese, and her mom's half-dutch, half-australian if I'm correct. Well, I'm not too sure what's her heritage, but she looks gorgeous with her eurasian look. She has this really killer smile that would set any guy's knees melting..

In any case, Cassan used to go for ballet classes. My mom always wanted me to go for ballet, but I hated the leotards, I thought it looked stupid on me, and I wanted to run, to jump, to swim and have fun under the sun, and not be the typical girly girl.. heh.. well, now you see a lazy fat ass me.. hee hee...

Cassan and I used to be super close, well, as close as 11 year olds could get.. We went for Saturday Supplementary classes for Chinese writing. I'm still very much hopeless at the language.. although I can write good compo's now.. hahas..

Anyway, like I said, I drifted from Cassandra after we left primary school.. so yeah.. last I heard, she's doing well in SRJC.. :) slogging for her A's.. saw her a couple of times at our void decks.. hahas.. how I miss that girl so!!!
Well, when I do get the chance, I'll post up a collaborated picture that she made for herself.. it's great.. :)

Actually, here you go.. this is my lovely friend, Cassandra! Click on the image for a larger resolution..
