today is a good day

yes indeed! *grins* I went back to secondary school today.. to get my EAGLES award money.
Yes, I have the award. It's damn prestigious, I'm telling you.
And that aside, I have the COLOURS award too!! *bigger grin*

Serica, my best friend.. *smiles* I'm so darn proud of her!
because, for once, she beat me in the academics field, by being awarded with GPA!!
Good Progress Award, that is. That's $150. AND also having the EAGLES award too!!!
*happy grin* You know, she's always being overshadowed by me.. I'm happy that for once, she's done something on her own in her own credit..!!! she's got $300 with her now..

anyways, while in school today, the teachers were all commenting about how tall I've got..
Well, i'm at this 165cm.. tall for most girls at my age..
I do hope to be taller... haha..
And I saw soooo many of my lost friends still stuck in school.. haha.. they looked happy to see us. (Rica and I, that is..)

We had lunch in school.. talked to the teachers, gave out a few pictures, talked some more, gave out hugs, and got our money.. haha.. waited for Valerie (Val for short) to get dismissed. Oh, Val's Rica's younger sis.. she's in sec 2 this year. Then we took 119.. they dropped off at Punggol Park, while I made my way over to Hougang Mall.

So damn crowded... you know, the world takes a totally different turn when you're not doing something that feels familiar to you. I used to be in my school uniform just exactly one year ago.. and now that I'm not, it feels new and different. Whether I accept that it's a comfortable or unsettling new thing, that's besides the point.. it's just kinda weird seeing kids around my age in uniforms, and I'm not. It's as if I'm like one of the adults now.

Is that how it is? haha.. well, as the old, old saying goes "Time and Tide awaits no man"
I do suppose I'll have to 'grow' up soon.. in terms of mentality and obedience.. haha...
ahh well..

Laters....
