I went to watch the gala primere of Troy last night with my mother...

Troy was great! you get to see the gory battle scenes... and Brad Pitt's really nicely sculpted body.. alot of hard work put to get that bod, but his efforts are well-paid off!! I was practically drooling.. hahaa...
Orlando Bloom's character was such a let down though... he's such a wuss.. and again, he plays as Paris, second and youngest Prince of Troy.
An immature fool in love with the Queen of Sparta. he steals her, and starts a mega war with a whole load of nations.. blah blah blah..
it's basically the story of Troy, the old tale passed down for the many centuries.. but this movie, besides being that old tale, it had a twist...
an addition of eye candy for the ladies.. the men.. okay, maybe a bit here and there..
but it's more for the ladies when it comes to brad pitt...
the fight scenes are for the guys.. hahaha..
um, well....
there were a few sentences from the movie which I was thinking of and i'd agree with what brad pitt's character said..
"the gods.. they're jealous, they envy us.. because we are only mortal. because we are beautiful only once. we are who we are only today." well, something to that extend...
and that set me thinking..
yeah, we only live once.. we are only beautiful now.. and because we can die any moment, that makes life so much more interesting.. :)
